The Director of Major Gifts develops and leads implementation of the strategic direction, work plan, and staff/volunteer complement that will cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and family-foundation donors who contribute $1,000+, including planned gifts. Responsibilities include identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new and existing donors. The Director of Major Gifts works closely with all members of the development team to ensure effective strategies that move donors through the fundraising cycle to major gifts. |
